| MATERNITY
SERVICES:
|
|
We
are extremely lucky to
have a fantastic midwifery
team locally who offer
a very personal level
of care. This is reflected
in the high rate of planned
home deliveries in this
area, although the majority
of patients choose to
go to Colchester Hospital.
We can also arrange for
you to have your baby
at Cambridge, Bury St
Edmunds, Chelmsford, or
in the small community
delivery suite at Halstead
Hospital.
When
you find out you are pregnant
come and see us and we
will refer you to the
midwives, who can be phoned
on 01787 291032.
Dr
Selby spent two years
specialising in obstetrics
before coming into general
practice and is very happy
to support home deliveries
for patients of the surgery.
|
| TODDLERS: |
We
aim to offer a child friendly
surgery at Castle Hedingham.
We offer all the usual
baby immunisation, and
if you have any worries
about your baby or toddler
please don't hesitate
to come and see us.
We
will always speak to you
or see you on the day
if you feel your baby
or toddler is unwell.
Please don't hesitate
to call.
